With an interest in both architecture and anthropology, I designed a book focused on the cultures and peoples who found themselves in New Orleans, Louisiana, and used their architectural knowledge of their homes to create what we now know as the French Quarter.

The book discusses the state's landscape before their arrival and how people adapted their knowledge and skills to work with the climate and environment.

It explores how different groups brought specific tools and materials to build homes and buildings, creating the hodgepodge of cultural architecture this diverse city is famous for.

I compiled notable photographs of the city and works of literature on this subject by various scholars, professors, and architects into one collection.
